These pictures are from a trip we made to Florida from late December 2015 to early January 2016. We went to the Everglades, which was experiencing a particularly awful winter in terms of the mosquito population. We saw some beautiful scenery but basically got out of there as quickly as we could, literally killing mosquitoes in our vehicle as we drove away, after days of camping in the swamp and cursing the tiny bloodsuckers. From there, we visited the Florida Keys, driving down to Key West, which was a brief escape to paradise.
